A. We are graphic designers with over 20 years of experience in designing marketing materials, publications and logos. We provide illustration services and photo imagery creation. These services are normally outlined in our estimates. We have a network of copywriters and photographers we know well and will include their services with our estimate or suggest possible alternative resources.
We will provide print quotes for projects we have prepared the art for or work with a printer you choose. Because of the variety of capabilities and skills available, we would suggest using our selected printers or allowing us to confer with your printer regarding technical issues and expectations. We normally approve printer's proofs and attend press checks when appropriate.
We design Web sites and prepare the site architecture, page layout and imagery required. Depending on the size and complexity of the site, we partner with a number of Web providers and hosting companies who can develop and publish your Web site.
A. In most cases, we will discuss your needs and expectations and estimate what the project requires. If you need writing talent, illustration or photography, we can arrange to engage seasoned professionals to work with you, your staff or current resources. Depending on the project, we prepare three to four sketches or comprehensives for your review and comment. With your feedback, we typically complete the design process with two revisions.
A. Our fees are based on hourly rates and the materials needed to complete your project. We will estimate the project and provide a break down for design, project management and production. If the project exceeds our estimate, we will notify you of any proposed changes or expected additional charges. We try to be as accurate as possible with our estimates. If you change your project's specifications or extent, we will notify you of the costs associated with these changes before proceeding.
A. Normally we bill at project completion. For larger or longer projects, we will bill interim fees to cover time and materials after the second month. In the case of new clients, we require a third of the estimated project cost on acceptance of our proposal, a third when the solution has been selected and the final third when the project is completed. Our invoices are due upon receipt.
